Default Dukes Daugher BUG

I don't know if this is widely known or even talked about, (my search button fails to work from time to time), but for a while now I've known about this bug concerning the "Dukes Daughter" quest that can be obtained in Piken Square. The quest asks you to find Althea's Ashes. Once you find the ashes you get the urn, I think, I don't exactly remember how it goes, but in the end it gives you 2000 experience, which is huge early in the game.

The bug goes like this:

Before talking to Viggo and getting the quest, buy the ashes from someone. There is always someone selling them for cheap.
Then talk to Viggo and get the quest.
Go complete the quest and you'll get her urn.
Talk to Duke and he will give you the 2000 experience reward.
Then talk to him AGAIN and he'll give you an additional 2000 experience for completing the quest again.

The reason I think people don't know about this is because I've watched people talk to the Duke and I've never seen anyone "light up" twice, (when you complete a quest, you glow for a second, you know the deal). I've only seen people light up once, meaning to me that they're only getting 2000 instead of 4000.

Has anyone else known about this?

Yeah, I've seen that, but I still haven't seen someone talk to the Duke and get the "glow" twice, showing that they got the reward twice. I've also asked people if they know about it in-game and they didn't. Is this unknown or widely known.

Dukes Dauighter and Altheas Ashes are 2 different quests, thats why they glow twice for getting exp. Once for completing dukes d quest and once for ashes (while having them in inventory)

thats what i think

While we're on the subject of Piken Square bugs, can anyone see if they can duplicate this potential "sticking" point in the middle town structure?

This is the short end at the back of town, near the collector.

Start at point A, hug the curb of that middle structure and walk along it towards point B. At the point where I'm standing in this picture, you will get STUCK to the middle structure, unable to continue towards point B any further. You'll have to back up a couple steps and do a small arc around that spot.

I tested all three of the other sides and I'm able to hug the edge and walk along the curb all the way. Just odd about this side. I only bring it up because I seem to get stuck to it a LOT lately. Same place.

I'm standing here, can't seem to get really stuck, but I see alot of other people doing it.

I'm standing infront of it, waiting to do the /BOO when anyone does.

Talkning about bugs regarding Althea...

Now, I know that her ghost jumps around and are never at the same spot, but when I was doing this mission with my third character, well, you can call this a BUG. You know the area that are close to Garfaaz Bloodfang (I think thats his name) that has a shitload of foes? Well, thats where Althea stood, trapped in a corner with about 50 foes in front of her. I was a level 9 ranger and I made an honest effort to finnish the quest, but needless to say, I failed. The worst part was that I forgot about grendich courthouse, were I could have run and start over. So I had to start over from Piken. Tough luck...

Yeah, you don't get 'stuck' stuck. It's just that if you encounter that spot while going along the edge in the A-to-B direction, you stop abruptly like there's an invisible wall or something.

@ the /BOO. That's hilarious.

Speaking of getting stuck, I've never done a Tombs run without getting stuck...So I usually bring along a vampiric thing to get myself killed and have someone rebirth me, or bring consume corpse.

Getting stuck usually happens when you are lagging, "tripping" over things and getting caught in unseen ledges or whatever.

It's definnally a annoying bug that Anet HAS to fix.

Anyone ever played <>Elle's Item Game!!<>? I've never heard about it untill I went to check out your ledge, but it appearently has a big cult following.

Elle says that the first person to give her an item gets (such and such) free gold items.Well, I did it and got an ok Sword, and two terrible shields. But it was worth it for the 100 gold.

I got stuck one time on the side of a hill in Thunderhead Keep. I'm like wtf I can't move! and of course no one in the group believed me. But luckily I've never had it happen again.
